Constant Vigilance explores the possibility of an alternate history as an explanation for events that shaped the lives of many of those who came of age in the final decades of the 20th century.  Using this alternate history, the story develops into a possible future that threatens the lives of every person on the planet.

What Do You Say About a Bad Review

          I have had my book up on line for a couple of months now.  All of the reviews have been good except one.  In this particular review the post says:

"This guys sounds like a communist.  I would not trust him."

       I wrote this book from the point of view of a person that grew up in the 1960's and 70's.  He was influenced by the counter culture movement of the time and his world view was that corporate America was interested in having him be a full on consumer and that the government mostly wanted him to be a dutiful tax paying unit.  This was the point of view of the character.  So how do I reconcile a review like the one above.  It's nice to know that my words had an impact upon this reviewer.  I just didn't think that a person could transfer the traits of a character to the writer.  You live and you learn.
